Our gold level membership is designed for healthcare organization that desire full consulting services with regular on-site support. Both bronze level and silver level services are included in this category. In addition, gold level members also receive additional on-site visits, an annual on-site education program on the standards, regulations and the survey process, and enhanced pre and post-survey support. Annual Education Program
The member organization receives a one-day on-site education program on the Joint Commission / CMS survey process as well as key standards and regulations. There is no limit to the number of participants that may attend. A full camera-ready copy of the presentation is provided. The member organization is responsible for photo-copying the materials. The course is designed so that CEU hours can be awarded to attendees.

Follow Up Visits The member organization receives two (2) one-day follow up visits annually. These visits can be used for any purpose such as monitoring of corrective action plans from the mock survey, additional or focused surveys, staff education, issue resolution, etc. Review of Policies and Procedures Member organizations are allowed access to CIHQ consultants for unlimited review of their major policies and procedures to assure that they meet accreditation and certification requirements. It is preferred that these documents be submitted electronically. CIHQ will review the document and – where necessary – suggest revisions to bring the policy into compliance. Most review can be accomplished within 3 – 5 business days. Review of extensive documents – such as medical staff bylaws – may take longer

Assistance with Corrective Action Plans / Appeals
Should a member organization be found out of compliance with a standard or regulation during a Joint Commission / CMS survey, CIHQ will assist the member in drafting the corrective action plan. If a member wishes to appeal a finding, CIHQ will assist the member is drafting the appeal / clarification. CIHQ has an 85% success rate in overturning findings by the Joint Commission / CMS.

Members in the gold level program are billed a monthly retainer fee which includes the bronze level enrollment fee. The fee varies with the size and complexity of the member organization but is between $800 and $1,000 per month, plus travel expenses for on-site work.
